Materials:
Various colored yarns in different textures (thin and chunky), cardboard, pencil, scissors, tape, assorted colorful and wooden beads.
Summary

Lesson:
- Find different circular objects in your classroom or at home and trace them out on cardboard. Cut out the circles to make a wheel
- Draw spokes on your wheel (like a bicycle) with a pencil and add a cut notch at the end of each spoke (you don’t have to be exact).
- Tape a piece of yarn to the back of your circle and run it across the circle to the nearest cut.
- Repeat until you have strings that follow each pencil lines.
- Tape your ending yarn to the back.
- Take a new piece of yarn, and tie it through the center.
- Go around the middle of the circle over and under. As you add more yarn, the circle will get wider and wider.
- Add beads along the way. Add new color yarn by simply tying it to the one on the loom.
- When you’re done, tape the yarn to the back of your circle
