Cut 2 large hearts from each color of paper (black, yellow, pink)
Cut 2 small hearts for the antennas, and 2 tiny hearts for the mouth
To make cutting hearts easier for kids, fold each paper in half, and draw half a heart along the fold, then have them cut along the line, and voila!
Create a pattern of black – yellow – black –yellow hearts and tape them together on the back. Make sure you end with a yellow heart so the face of the bee is visible
Tape the two pink hearts on the sides for the wings
Cute a pipe cleaner in half, and tape each one to the top back of your bee
Tape small hearts to top of antennas
Glue on tiny hearts for mouth, draw on mouth and glue on googly eyes!
Make it a valentine by writing “Bee My Valentine”
